Austin is a hot bed of film production with directors, producers, and studios. We’re also a thriving online video, VR, AR, and 360 ecosystem thanks to our digital experience, advertising community, and startups exploring digital video.
What can we do with that to further the story of Austin? How can startups with few resources best leverage video and how can our film community thrive with the support of entrepreneurs, technology, and venture capital?
Tonight, we’re going to explore both one of Austin’s most incredible new work spaces and an amazing asset to the Austin media ecosystem and the thoughts of many of Texas’ most innovative visual storytellers. Thanks to Michael Hodson and OnlyInVR, we’ll be producing the talk in 360 Video and it’s because of SkylesBayne we’re able to again bring music and cocktails into the mix!
We’ll get out of downtown for a change and take a look at Impact Hub North Lamar with Gavin Gillas and Ashley Phillips. With this, their second location, Impact Hub is clearly the ideal spot for entrepreneurs working around town, near downtown, and with Austin’s creative class.
To produce the ideal experience, reflecting Austin’s innovative video ecosystem, we’ve asked 360 Studios founder Shaggy Welsh, Cinematographer and HD video pioneer Randall Dark, and Lyn Graft, founder and producer of Storytelling for Entrepreneurs to join us for a chat about impact of technology on their work.
SkylesBayne, supporting MediaTech Ventures and our guests, provides commercial real estate expertise to tenants, aligning real estate needs with business plans, while delivering maximum flexibility and cost savings. One look at how SkylesBayne puts MediaTech to work as they explore opportunities for clients and we knew we had to look to them to work together. The SkylesBayne Company is a commercial real estate firm specializing in office, industrial, and retail tenant representation connecting Austin’s most exciting companies to space that inspires productivity.
