Director of Public Relations and Marketing

Milligan, Tennessee, The Office of Institutional Advancement at Milligan University invites applications for the full-time position of Director of Public Relations and Marketing with an immediate start date.  Reporting to the Vice President for Institutional Advancement, this position will oversee the institution’s public relations, marketing, and communication efforts to build and strengthen the university’s role and reputation and communicate the university’s mission to internal and external audiences.  The director will lead and oversee the daily operations of the public relations and marketing office and staff and develop, implement, and maintain a PR/marketing strategy.  Click here for a complete job description and list of qualifications.  
 
Successful candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience in related field and excellent writing and editing skills as well as knowledge, experience, and success in marketing.  Successful candidates should also demonstrate a strong Christian faith and commitment to Milligan’s mission as a Christian liberal arts university.  Primary duties and responsibilities would be performed in the office with ability to represent Milligan at both internal and external functions and events and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
