Galvanize has been open in Austin since 2016 and home to over 250 technology oriented entrepreneurs and startup mentors. The location, off 2nd and Nueces, is ideal for startups and Austin media professionals as companies like Google, Umbel, and Facebook call the downtown district home. Galvanize is experienced in launching innovation labs for both startup communities and the technology sophisticated Fortune 100 organizations across their 8 campuses.

Distinct in the partnership, the startup studio will be open to the public. This offers would-be podcasters, startups looking for quality audio production, and existing shows needing a home for an interview downtown, a venue with professional studio quality. To foster that voice, MediaTech Ventures is working with a host of exceptional shows including The Feedbak, The Fire Show, and Nevins’ Go Hunt Life, to develop the station for Austin startups.
The Austin podcast community ranks among the most innovative in the world. In our work, converging media and technology, opening a studio at Galvanize distinguishes the what Austin is doing in technology, through the media, and in hosting the discussions about the future of our economy. This hub for Austin startups, with the support already of even more in what we’re doing with this studio, from Northshore Media Productions to Backtracks, and what folks like Jake Phillips and Elisa Goldberg are doing for Austin through Galvanize, is such an exciting development for our collective future as the world’s media innovation city.
