His best selling book, Television Disrupted: The Transition from Network to Networked TV received editorial reviews from a diverse mix of industry leaders and professionals, and even one from billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban.
Having said all this, Palmer’s amazing career trajectory originally stems from a completely different path. Prior to specializing as a business consultant, technologist, and television producer, Palmer was a classical composer and music producer! With a substantial quantity of compositions and arrangements, one outstanding work to note is Anthem. Composed and conducted at the London Symphony Orchestra, this work gained massive media attention and was well attended by an all-star audience.
Unsurprisingly, Palmer has many accolades, most notably he was named LinkedIn Top Voices in Technology in 2017 and the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) 13th Annual Film and Television Awards in the category of “Most Performed Television Themes.”
Palmer is someone who has a vision of bettering the world and understands how to use technology to build connections and communities. For example, 25 minutes every week his project, the Online Networking Salons, brings together the smartest minds to network with the goal: to build a living network of creators and thinkers.
