Toni Thorne

Toni Thorne is an award-winning entrepreneur and former National Youth Awardee, who has been a consultant to both public and private sector entities in Barbados. At age 18, she was the first Black or Caribbean person to sit on the Global Youth Leader’s European Summit. She was a UWI Vice Chancellor’s Ambassador who qualified for UWI’s World Debating Championships team. Thorne was JCI International’s “Top Outstanding Young Person of the World” from the Caribbean. Additionally, Toni was a World Economic Forum Global Shaper and a Deputy Curator and Curator of its Bridgetown Hub. In 2016, she was chosen by CARICOM as CARIFESTA’s Representative for Youth & the Arts.” The Toni Thorne Show” was her regionally broadcasted television show, and her weekly “Women’s Wednesdays” enjoyed a listenership of 30,000. She is also a Cambridge Trust Scholar and a Chevening Scholar. As a student at the Cambridge Judge Business School, she enjoys being a Cambridge Women in Media Mentor, Cambridge Women in Finance Mentee, and a member of the Cambridge Union Speakers Committee.
