    Forum Description

The global tech community unites together again in Las Vegas for a hybrid CES 2022.

CES – the most prominent tech event in the world – owned and organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) is back online and in-person.

You might have heard over the last few weeks that many companies are going digital or backing out of the conference due to the omicron variant's rapid spread. CES opens the doors of its Las Vegas home this week, with a heavier focus on online engagement as it pushes the boundaries of what it means to be an innovative and hybrid experience. Long the world's epicenter of Consumer Electronics innovation, CES this year continues to bring together the worlds companies and entrepreneurs oriented to the hardware, software, and solutions most meaningful in media: branches of technology, from SpaceTech, EdTech, and HealthTech, to MusicTech and MediaTech, comprise this years schedule and trade show.

President and CEO of CTA (the Consumer Technology Association responsible for CES), David Shapiro, joined MediaTech Ventures’ Ted Cohen just a few weeks ago, to share early thoughts about 2022 and the Consumer Electronisc Show.

Companies presenting this year include Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Canon, IBM, Panasonic, Samsung, P&G, Oracle, Nikon, LG, Lenovo, John Deere, Intel, BMW, Bosch, AT&T, and Marriott.

Plan your schedule ahead of time as the extensive list of exhibitors and talks can and should keep you incredible busy and, due to COVID, expect spontaneous changes to the in-person talks. Events are spread across the Las Vegas Strip, at the Aria, Mandalay Bay, Venetian Expo, and the Wynn; expect there, this year: 5G and the Internet of Things (IoT); Advertising, Entertainment & Content: Audio; Automotive; Blockchain & Digital Currency; Business and Finance; Health and Wellness; Immersive Entertainment; Product Design & Manufacturing; Robotics & Machine Intelligence; Sports; Startups; Technology in Society.

The Consumer Electronics Show is going to again accelerate our awareness and adoption of new consumer technology.

Below you will find the sessions we are super excited about and look forward to:

(We are hoping they are ALL virtual! Sessions are subject to change as omicron develops)

Get ahead with the “CES 2022 Trends to Watch” one day before this conference kicks off.
